“ This place was recommended to me by some coworkers and I tried the poke nachos! Omg. The perfect place and way to try poke for the first time. The restaurant is so beautifully decorated. The light fixtures were so cute! The staff is also so nice and welcoming to each person that comes into the restaurant. They clear plates and trash immediately! Another Maui favorite! I can't wait to come back and fall in love with another menu item! ”
“ I first ate here 9 years ago. Came back a couple times afterwards. They have the best coconut shrimp I've ever had! Their famous fish tacos are pretty good too! You get two full tacos when you order it. I recommend eating half of it with a fork before eating it like a regular taco. Also, I would order the coconut shrimp combo with fries instead of a la carte. There's another location about 5 (?) miles away, that's upstairs and a more modern building. They opened a location in Los Angeles during the pandemic, but it closed up in a year. Mainly because the whole block was under construction for a facelift...and the pandemic. I go to the next closest locations in Scottsdale, Arizona, whenever I visit our adult son. Great food!!! ”
“ Really really good and filling dishes! Friendly service greats you at the door and you place your order and find seating. Small interior with some seating and some outside seating also. We ordered the fish tacos, basket of fries, and the taco mountain with pork. All of it was delicious, great combo of flavors with salty and sweet, and huge portions. My fish tacos were massive, could have been 2 each, they were falling apart and hard to eat because they were so full, that was my only minor issue. The pork was cooked to flavorful perfection and the taco mountain was like a "bowl" of food with a rice base but on a plate. Fries were thin and salty and hot, reminded me of McDonalds fries. We loved our meal! ”
“ My friend's daughter loves this place, and has been telling her mom she has to try the fish burger. So, after we checked into our place, we came here for lunch. My friend did try the Grilled Ono on a Bun, and other items. She did really like the fish sandwich. I got the Shrimp and Chips, which was good, but I got full quickly. We had a lot of fried foods on the table and plenty of fries. My bf also enjoyed his Wagyu Beef Burger. Next time, I'll have to try the fish. ”
“ Solid place for a quick lunch. Tried both pork and fish tacos and salad with pineapple vinegarette. Everything was delicious and portions are generous. You order at counter and wait for your food at the table. I didn't love the bathrooms are behind the building - otherwise enjoyed my meal though ”
“ Excellent coconut shrimp you can really taste the coconut! The shrimp was juicy and the sauce it comes with is perfect. Cute interior and incredibly nice staff! There are no public restrooms or alcohol on site. Fish tacos are huge! Just 3 coconut shrimp and one taco filled me up. The mango salsa was delicious! I loved the ono and mahi mahi blend in the tacos. Very fresh and juicy- truly perfect. I also love that they have 2 lemon slices - one for each taco. They don't skimp on toppings and the ambience is very island centric complete with reggae music in the background. ”
“ I really enjoyed this place! First visit I had the fish and chips. The fish was the local ono fish, which is very dense, almost like chicken and the fries are basically McDonald's. The fish was the star of this dish. Second meal was the coconut shrimp. It was really good and crispy! Would definitely order both again! You order inside and get a number for your table and they bring it to you when it's ready. Service was fast with both indoor and outdoor seating. Some feral 'guests' might wander by if you are sitting outside! ”
